Nike By Nike Brand Design Studio
On the walls of the shop, drawings by Antoine et Manuel integrate Nike icons into the landscape of Paris.

The ever-changing Marais area of Paris, famous for its Jewish restaurants and retail establishments, is a shoppers’ paradise offering an increasing number of sportswear stores.

Nike – the latest to open an outlet here – occupies a converted Jewish book shop. As always, Nike’s in-house design team assumed responsibility for the interior. Fortunately, the charming building and its location had a strong influence on the design. Many original features were either retained or restored, and the result is an attractive shop with warmth and character. Visitors find accessories and books displayed on shelves. The designers worked with French illustrators Antoine et Manuel, who not only created the striking wallpaper but also left their mark in the form of drawings that appear on walls throughout the shop. In successfully combining elements of the Parisian landscape with Nike icons, they added a unique touch to the décor – a spark that ignites the entire interior.
