Milan Preview #1
SOS by Josh Owen.

Salone Internazionale del Mobile is slowly coming our way. Frame gives away some sneak previews.

We'll kick off with Italian company Casamania and Japanese design label E&Y.

Casamania presents four new products from four different designers.
1. SOS by Josh Owen
This multifunctional stool is made from polyethylene, available in black, white, blue, light brown and orange. Josh Owen designed SOS for relaxed convivial moments. The two elements attached to the seat can be used as cup-holders, handles or hooks. Turned upside-down it becomes a fun and unusual vase or container. Suitable for both in- and outdoors.

2. AL by Marco Zito
A collection of extendable tables with soft and simple lines. AL is made from aluminium legs and a top of coloured glass or lacquered MDF. Variable attachments allow the legs to move to suit the table top. The tables are available in black or white and various sizes.

3. Her by Fabio Novembre
With this chair, Fabio Novembre once more shows his obsession for the female body. Yet there is a male version on its way, called Him. Her is made from polyethylene, available in black and white and suitable for in- and outdoors.

4. Stereo by Luca Nichetto
Luca Nichetto designed a seating system existing of four different chairs. The chairs are suitable for both private and public spaces, as well as home or office areas. The structures are made from aluminium with a seat in polypropylene.

E&Y, the Tokyo-based furniture company, will present a collection of eight different products. Showed here is a selection of three products.

Cano by Johannes Norlander
The eye-catching detail of the Cano shelf system consists of coloured crosses that can be applied to the back or to the front of the structure. The system is made from powder coated steel with a white shelf and a light grey frame. Crosses are available in a wide range of colours.

Husky by Alexander Taylor
Inspired by traditional wooden sleds, the Husky bench features characteristics both of the sleds basic and the seat. The bench is made of a series of wooden bars and available for in- and outdoor use.

4FB by Koichi Futatsumata
4FB refers to the composition of this coat hanger: 4 Flat Bars, made from aluminium. Connected to each other in a square section, the bars are bended on the top and on the bottom, creating a basis and hooks for hanging coats and hats. 4FB is available in black, silver and brown.
