Shortlisted Talent At Northern Futures
3D Design: Mensa Coffee Table, Liam Hopkins

Artists and innovators have been shortlisted for the Northern Futures award, which celebrates future talent emerging from the north of England.

The north of England has produced some well-known innovative and respected creative individuals, such as Henry Moore, Vivienne Westwood, Damien Hirst, Mike Leigh, Danny Boyle, David Hockney and Peter Saville, to name just a few.

The Northern Futures initiative seeks to identify and encourage future Westwood's, Hockneys, Boyles and Savilles towards successful creative futures in the categories of Fine Art, Three-Dimensional Design, Fashion and Film.

Work from the emerging creatives can be seen on display at The Gallery@ until 10 September, 2010.
