Tamp & Lable By Florian Kallus

A table and lamp combination, aptly named Tamp & Lable, is a multifunctional furniture piece designed by Florian Kallus.

The name says it all really. The combination of both a table and lamp – or Tamp & Lable – is the recent work of German designer Florian Kallus. After finishing school, Kallus completed a carpentry apprenticeship which provoked his interest in form, function, technique, material and design.

The piece has both an industrial and homely feel, due to the blend of material choices (ash, textile cable, chintz and thermo resin panel) and retro-inspired additions such as the pull switch. Creating more versatility for the user, the lamp moves on its axis to provide light beyond the border of the table, so that it can be used as a reading light with a neighboring chair.
